DUAL KICK Beyond Limits in Sport & Career

A digital education and information platform supporting the dual-career development of athletes with disabilities through sport, education and professional growth.

About the Project

A Dual-Career Approach for Athletes with Disabilities

Dual Kick is an international Erasmus+ project carried out to support the dual-career development of athletes with disabilities.

The training materials, documents, videos and announcements produced within the project are made available to athletes, coaches and mentors through this platform.

Objectives

Objectives of the Project

Dual Kick promotes a sustainable dual-career approach that contributes not only to athletes’ sporting achievements but also to their educational and professional futures.

    Helping athletes maintain a balance between their sporting, educational and professional lives.

  2. Inclusive Education

    Creating accessible educational resources for athletes, coaches and mentors.

  3. International Cooperation

    Strengthening the exchange of knowledge and experience between Türkiye, Italy and Malta.

  4. Sustainable Resources

    Producing training materials and digital resources that remain usable beyond the project.

Training

Courses and Training Materials

Three training modules are being prepared within the project for athletes, coaches and mentors.

  • Module 01

    Dual Career and Time Management for Athletes

    Training content helping athletes balance their training, education and professional lives.

  • Module 02

    Inclusive Sport Guide for Coaches and Mentors

    Guidance content enabling coaches and mentors to support athletes’ dual-career development.

  • Module 03

    Academic and Professional Integration Module

    Informative materials on athletes’ education, career planning and transition to professional life.

Module content will be published in Turkish, English and Italian as it becomes available.

This section will host the resource area containing all project outputs, together with a visual gallery of interview videos with athletes, coaches and mentors.

Project News Ankara

The international “Dual Kick” project, coordinated by the Turkish Taekwondo Federation, has been launched in Ankara

The kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ project “Dual Kick: Beyond Limits in Sport & Career”, coordinated by the Turkish Taekwondo Federation, was held in Ankara.

At the kick-off meeting of the project, carried out in cooperation with the Italian Taekwondo Federation and the Malta Taekwondo Association, the project was presented in detail.

The partners discussed the key topics that will shape the project, including the expected outputs, the division of institutional roles, management strategies and budget planning.

After the official meeting, the international delegation continued its programme with a visit to Anıtkabir. The delegation then moved on to the Nur Tatar Sports Hall, where it met the Para Taekwondo National Team during their training camp and wished the athletes success in international competition.

Visit to the National Team Athletes After the official meeting, the international delegation visited the Nur Tatar Sports Hall and met the Para Taekwondo National Team, who were continuing their training camp there.
